Should Apple cancel MacOS?

If you see the enormous development of the Apple product portfolio Macs bring only less than the quarter of the revenue and probably even less profit. I have found a nice chart on Business Insider.

There's  a long lasting rumor that Apple will use his own ARM architecture processors in Macs in the future. Knowing the development of tablet sales it seems to be a very logical step. Maybe a further step could be made and canceling MacOS as well and  replacing the Mac product line with devices running iOS with ARM processors, retina display and gesture interface. Apple could save a lot of money on not buying processors form Intel and not developing MacOS while control it's technology even stronger.  In fact there aren't many counter arguments; there are some applications which are not yet running on iOS, but the number is decreasing fast. And with the new architecture it's harder - albeit not impossible - to produce high end workstations.
However these disadvantages can be managed. There is nor rush, Apple could slowly converge MacOS to iOS by leaving out features non existing on iOS and taking over more an more iOS code. In fact this is happening. Then they can either make a big processor switch as they did twice before (to PowerPC and to Intel) or starting from the low end with iOS based, Apple Air like notebooks and then moving upwards.
